New program aims to help 9/11 responders breathe easier

Summary

This study tests a program called SaMBA-WTC to help World Trade Center responders with asthma better manage their condition. About 56 adults with uncontrolled asthma will be randomly assigned to the program or a control group. The goal is to see if the program improves asthma control, medication use, and quality of life over 6 months.
