Scientists test new, Eco-Friendlier inhaler gas
NCT ID NCT06433908
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how the body absorbs a common asthma relief drug (salbutamol) when it's delivered from an inhaler using a new, potentially more environmentally friendly propellant gas. Researchers compared this new propellant to the one currently used in standard inhalers. The study involved 60 healthy adults who each tried both inhaler types in a single dose, so scientists could measure the drug levels in their blood and check for safety.
