Common aspirin may shield cancer patients from deadly clots

NCT ID NCT06866964

Summary

This study is testing if a daily low-dose aspirin pill can prevent dangerous blood clots in men with advanced testicular or germ cell cancer who are receiving chemotherapy. The trial will enroll 35 participants at high risk for clots to take aspirin daily for 6 months while undergoing standard treatment. Researchers will compare the rate of blood clots in this group to historical data to see if aspirin provides a safe and effective preventive benefit.
