Common aspirin may hold key to preventing Women's cancer

NCT ID NCT07281547

Summary

This study is testing whether low-dose aspirin can reduce inflammation and prevent endometrial (uterine) cancer in postmenopausal women who have certain tissue changes. Researchers will enroll 25 women who are already scheduled for a biopsy and randomly assign them to take aspirin or not. The main goal is to see if aspirin lowers specific inflammation markers in the uterine tissue that are linked to cancer development.
