New vaginal treatment tested to reverse cervical Pre-Cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether artesunate vaginal inserts can help treat cervical pre-cancer (CIN2/3) and clear the HPV infection that causes it. About 78 women will use either the active inserts or a placebo for three 5-day cycles. The main goal is to see if the treatment causes the pre-cancer to regress before a standard surgical procedure is performed at week 17.
