Summary

This study will use ultrasound to check for medial arterial calcification (hardening of the arteries) in 60 healthy endurance athletes. The goal is to find out how common this condition is in this group and see if it relates to their training habits or heart risk factors. Participants are high-level athletes aged 18-70 who do over 5 hours of vigorous exercise weekly for more than 10 years.
