Summary
This study is testing whether a brief aromatherapy session can help reduce stress and anxiety in emergency department patients. Researchers want to see if smelling lavender for about 5 minutes is practical and acceptable in a busy hospital setting. The study will involve 60 emergency room patients, with half receiving lavender-scented tubes and half receiving unscented tubes for comparison.
