First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a drug called sacubitril/valsartan, already used for heart failure and high blood pressure, can improve survival and reduce heart complications in 200 adults with advanced lung cancer who also have high blood pressure. Participants will take the medication and be followed for outcomes like death from any cause and major heart events. The goal is to see if this heart-protective drug can improve overall prognosis in this group.
