Simple arm moves and deep breaths may boost recovery after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07627009
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether doing arm exercises with deep breathing helps heart surgery patients breathe better compared to arm exercises alone. About 90 adults who had planned open-heart surgery will try both methods in the ICU. Researchers will check oxygen levels, breathing rate, and comfort before and after each session.
