Scientists track eye health over five years in AREDS participants

Summary

This study follows 110 adults aged 50 and older who previously took part in the AREDS or AREDS2 studies. Researchers will conduct annual eye exams, including vision tests and eye photographs, to monitor the natural progression of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. The goal is to gather long-term data on how these eye diseases change over time.
