Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to set ventilator pressure for patients with severe lung failure (ARDS). Researchers compared two standard techniques to see which one improved oxygen levels while putting less strain on the heart. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 2 of a planned 50 patients.
