Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug called paridiprubart can help hospitalized adults with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), a severe and life-threatening form of lung failure. About 200 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a placebo, in addition to their standard hospital care. The main goal is to see if the drug improves survival and reduces the need for breathing machines like ventilators.
