NCT ID NCT07271550
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a new Arabic version of a questionnaire that measures how well people with type 2 diabetes take care of their feet. 255 adults in Tunisia completed the survey online. The goal was to see if the Arabic version is reliable and valid, so doctors can use it to spot risky foot care habits and teach patients how to prevent foot complications.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this questionnaire could help doctors identify poor foot care habits in Arabic-speaking diabetes patients and improve education to prevent foot problems.
What could go wrong
This is a questionnaire validation study, not a treatment trial. It does not test any drug or therapy, so it cannot directly improve health outcomes.
