First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether augmented reality glasses can reduce pain and anxiety in children during dental numbing injections. 108 children aged 7-9 were divided into four groups: some watched movies, some played video games, some did both through the glasses, and a control group watched movies on a phone. Researchers measured pain, anxiety, and behavior during the injection.
