200 APS patients tracked to uncover Real-World clot recurrence rates

NCT ID NCT07178925

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study follows 200 adults with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) to see how often blood clots return and how well current treatments work. Researchers will also look at treatment side effects, risk factors, and death rates. No new treatment is being tested; the goal is to gather updated information to improve future care.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this study could provide updated, real-world data on how often blood clots return in APS patients and help guide better treatment decisions.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It will not test any new drug or therapy, so it cannot directly improve patient outcomes.
