Could an apple extract fight inflammation and slow aging?
NCT ID NCT07678346
First seen Jul 01, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a daily apple extract called AppleX™, rich in the compound fisetin, can lower inflammation and improve vitality in adults aged 45 to 70 who have signs of low-grade inflammation. Participants take either the extract or a placebo for 24 weeks. Researchers measure changes in blood inflammation markers, energy levels, joint comfort, and biological aging.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a natural supplement to reduce inflammation and support healthier aging.
