Phone app aims to take guesswork out of kidney medication dosing

NCT ID NCT04759274

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app can help people with kidney problems better manage fluid buildup and swelling. Participants will use the app daily to track their weight and blood pressure, and it will provide personalized instructions for adjusting their water pill (diuretic) medication. The goal is to see if this digital tool helps people reach and maintain a target 'dry weight' more safely and consistently over 90 days.
