Can a phone app soothe Kids' chronic tummy troubles?

NCT ID NCT06653647

Summary

This small, completed pilot study tested whether a smartphone app delivering guided imagery therapy could help children with chronic functional abdominal pain. Kids aged 7-12 were randomly assigned to either use the app immediately or after an 8-week wait. The main goal was to see if listening to the app's 10-15 minute sessions most days for 8 weeks reduced how often and how badly their stomachs hurt.
