First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mobile phone app can help people with kidney problems control body swelling by guiding daily adjustments to their water pill (diuretic) dose. Thirty participants will use the app for 90 days, entering daily weight and blood pressure readings. The app then gives instructions on medication changes. Researchers will track how quickly patients reach a healthy weight and how stable that weight stays.
