First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study looked at how well the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program helps children and teens aged 6 to 19 with anxiety disorders like social anxiety, panic, and phobias. Researchers collected surveys from 559 participants to see if symptoms improved from the start to the end of treatment, compared to those on a waitlist. The goal was to understand the program's effectiveness and whether gains lasted three months after discharge.
