First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at the best way to use blood thinners after a minimally invasive heart valve repair (called TEER) in people with mitral regurgitation, a common heart valve problem. About 1,032 participants who do not need long-term blood thinners will be randomly assigned to different anti-clotting plans. The main goal is to see which plan causes the fewest bleeding problems one year after the procedure.
