Summary
This study looks at whether using a blood test (anti-Xa) to adjust the dose of a blood thinner (enoxaparin) works better than dosing based on weight alone for preventing dangerous blood clots in burn patients. About 25 adults with serious burns will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the anti-Xa method reduces clot rates and bleeding complications.
