NCT ID NCT03571763

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study follows 1,875 people who have had an ischemic stroke and already have tiny brain bleeds (microbleeds). Researchers want to see if taking blood thinners to prevent another stroke makes these bleeds worse or leads to larger brain bleeds. Participants will have MRI scans to track changes, helping doctors personalize treatment.
