Summary
This study tests whether ixekizumab, a drug already approved for psoriasis, can help people newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes keep making their own insulin for longer. The trial involves 127 adults aged 18-45 who were diagnosed within the last 100 days. Participants receive either the drug or a placebo, and researchers measure insulin production and blood sugar control over 52 weeks.
