First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested how well a new device called the LabPatch continuous glucose monitor measures blood sugar levels in 30 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The LabPatch uses a small chip on the skin to read sugar levels from fluid under the skin. Researchers compared its readings to standard lab tests and two commercial glucose meters to see how accurate it is.
