First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether a short animated video can lower anxiety in children (ages 4-10) getting a stem cell transplant and their parents. Half the families watch the video, the other half get standard verbal instructions. Researchers measure anxiety and satisfaction before and after the education. The goal is to see if animation makes the process less scary and more satisfying for everyone.
