First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether showing children an animated video of the procedure during pin removal can lower their pain and anxiety. About 120 kids aged 4 to 12 who had elbow fracture surgery will be randomly assigned to watch the video or not. Researchers will measure pain and anxiety using standard scales before, during, and after the procedure.
