First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study follows 40 children and adults with Angelman syndrome for one year to see how their communication, motor skills, and behaviors change. Participants visit the study site every three months for tests and questionnaires, plus have brain activity measured with EEG and wear a sleep monitor at home. The goal is to better understand the natural course of the condition, not to test a treatment.
