Summary

This study aims to find which local anesthetic works better and is safer for people with high blood pressure who need a tooth pulled. It compares two common dental numbing drugs, articaine with epinephrine and mepivacaine without epinephrine, by measuring pain levels and changes in blood pressure and heart rate. The study involves 60 adults with controlled hypertension who need a single upper tooth removed.
