Study probes if Low-Flow anesthesia reduces surgery stress
NCT ID NCT07230704
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if using a lower flow of anesthesia gas during weight-loss surgery affects the body's stress and inflammation response. Researchers compared 155 patients who had either a low-flow or standard-flow method. They checked blood markers for inflammation and monitored blood pressure and heart rate to see which method was more stable.
