New drug combo aims to ease pain and improve sleep after surgery
NCT ID NCT07308756
Summary
This study aims to see if two common anesthesia drugs, dexmedetomidine and esketamine, can help people feel better after surgery. Researchers will test each drug alone and together in 316 adults having surgery under general anesthesia. The main goal is to see if these drugs improve recovery by reducing pain, improving sleep, and supporting emotional well-being in the days after an operation.
