Can a new anesthesia mix stop Post-Surgery brain fog in seniors?

NCT ID NCT07479719

Summary

This study aims to see if a specific way of giving anesthesia drugs can help protect older patients' memory and thinking skills after surgery. Researchers will compare two different levels of anesthesia depth, both delivered by a precise IV pump that mixes two key drugs in a fixed ratio. The goal is to find out which method better prevents short-term thinking problems that some older adults experience after an operation.
