Belgian researchers build massive amyloidosis database to unlock disease mysteries
NCT ID NCT07172243
Summary
This study aims to create a large collection of biological samples and health information from people with amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in organs. Researchers will collect blood, urine, and tissue samples, along with detailed medical records, from up to 505 participants. The goal is to build a powerful resource to help future scientists better understand the disease, track how it progresses, and develop new treatments.
