Child amputees: new study probes lingering nerve pain

Summary

This study looks at nerve pain in children and teens who had a limb removed before age 15-16. Researchers want to find out how common phantom or stump pain is and how it affects daily life and well-being. About 50 participants will fill out questionnaires during regular check-ups to help doctors better understand and manage this pain.
