Amniotic membrane grafts show promise for stubborn wounds

NCT ID NCT07223281

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding amniotic membrane products to standard wound care helps diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and pressure ulcers heal faster. Researchers will compare healing rates in 2,400 adults treated with these grafts versus those receiving standard care alone. The main goal is to see if more wounds close completely within 12 weeks with the added treatment.
