First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study aims to validate a test that analyzes proteins in amniotic fluid to predict how well a baby's kidneys will work after birth. Researchers will collect samples from 78 pregnant women whose fetuses have kidney and urinary tract abnormalities. The goal is to see if the test can accurately identify which babies will need dialysis by age 2, helping doctors plan care before birth.
