Summary

This study is testing a decision-making support tool designed to help older adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and their caregivers. It aims to reduce emotional distress and improve the quality of shared decisions about cancer treatment. The trial will compare the new tool against standard support across multiple hospitals, involving over 1,000 patients, their caregivers, and their doctors.
