New hope for fighting muscle wasting in kidney patients
NCT ID NCT07437053
Summary
This study is testing whether two different amino acid supplements are practical and helpful for improving muscle mass and strength in people with advanced kidney disease who are experiencing muscle loss. It will involve about 20 participants who are not on dialysis. The goal is to see if these supplements can help with a common and debilitating symptom when a high-protein diet is not recommended.
