First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study uses a special brain scan to measure a protein called amyloid in people who may be at risk for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers want to see how and when amyloid builds up, which could help find the best time to start treatments. About 800 volunteers from an Alzheimer's research center will take part. The study does not test any new drug or treatment.
