Summary
This early-phase study tests a special dye called [11C]CPPC used in PET scans to see if it can safely detect brain inflammation in people with ALS. Researchers will compare scans from 20 ALS patients and healthy volunteers to check if the dye highlights areas of inflammation and how it relates to disease symptoms. The goal is to develop a better way to measure and understand ALS progression.
