Summary

This early-phase study tests a new radioactive tracer called [11C]CPPC for PET scans in 20 people with ALS and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if the tracer can safely detect brain inflammation linked to ALS and track changes over time. This research aims to improve understanding of the disease, not to treat it.
