Global hunt for ALS clues: 1000 people to donate blood and data

Summary
This study aims to build a large collection of blood, spinal fluid, and health information from people with ALS and healthy volunteers. Researchers will follow 800 ALS patients and 200 healthy controls for up to 5 years, collecting samples and tracking symptoms. The goal is to create a shared resource to help scientists worldwide discover new ways to understand and eventually treat ALS.
