First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding alprazolam (a medicine for anxiety) to standard ibuprofen can better control pain after a root canal. About 110 adults with tooth pain will be randomly assigned to get either ibuprofen alone or ibuprofen plus alprazolam. They will rate their pain at 6, 12, and 24 hours after treatment to see which approach works better.
