First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether an injection of Alocyte (a mix of cord blood plasma and cells) into the small joints of the spine is safe for people with chronic back pain from worn-out facet joints. The study involves 15 adults and will check for side effects and whether the treatment reduces pain and inflammation. It is not a cure, but aims to ease symptoms.
