NCT ID NCT07392775

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether offering genetic testing for alcohol flushing (ALDH2 and ADH1B genes) along with education is practical and helpful for East Asian American adults who experience flushing when they drink. About 100 participants will either get education alone or education plus genetic testing. Researchers want to see if the testing is acceptable and if it leads to changes in health behaviors.
