First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looked at whether showing people picture-based warning labels about alcohol and cancer can change how they think about drinking. Over 1,000 adults who drink regularly viewed either story-style or fact-style warning labels. Researchers measured how much attention they paid, how they reacted, and whether they planned to drink less or stop.
