NCT ID NCT04230395

Summary

This study is testing whether adding alcohol reduction counseling to regular TB and HIV medical care can help patients drink less and improve their health. Researchers will work with 450 adults in India who have tuberculosis, HIV, or both, and who report unhealthy drinking. Participants will either receive four counseling sessions plus follow-up boosters alongside their medical care, or continue with their usual medical care alone.
