New approach targets hidden alcohol risk in opioid recovery
NCT ID NCT07342504
Summary
This study is testing a short counseling program designed specifically for people receiving medication treatment for opioid addiction who also drink alcohol. The program aims to help reduce alcohol use, which can increase the risk of overdose and make opioid treatment less effective. Researchers want to see if patients find the program helpful and practical, and if it leads to better outcomes.
