New app and coaching aim to curb heavy drinking in young adults

Summary

This study tests a program that combines brief counseling with mobile technology to help young adults who drink heavily. The goal is to see if participants find the tools useful and easy to use, and if they help reduce drinking. About 90 people aged 18-25 who drink heavily will take part in a randomized trial.
