Summary
This pilot study tested a phone-based program called SLAC, designed to help Veterans with risky drinking connect to professional alcohol care. The study involved 140 Veterans who also had symptoms of PTSD or depression. Researchers compared the new program to usual care to see if it was feasible, acceptable, and could help Veterans get the support they need.
