First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at how combining alcohol with high-THC cannabis concentrates changes intoxication. 146 heavy drinkers who also use cannabis regularly took part. They drank a set amount of alcohol and used their own cannabis product, then had their heart rate, blood alcohol, and cognitive skills measured over 4 hours. The goal was to see if the order of use (alcohol first or cannabis first) or the THC level in the cannabis made a difference.
